Kutatas Sauvignette 2024
Dan and Mira Farm two parcels of land on Salt Spring Island and another spot on the Saanich peninsula of Vancouver Island.
On the Saanich peninsula they have been farming Sauvignette (also known as Epicure) to make this delicious skin contact Orange wine. This wine is also Dry farmed, Unfined, Unfiltered and has no added Sulphites.
The Grapes were macerated for 4 weeks with the stems and skins for a spontaneous fermentation that was Aged in Neutral Barrels.
This is a great introduction for someone curious about orange wines, it is dry with nice tannins and flavors like Apricot, Lavender, Nectarine skin.
